Highland architecture can help assist with your building project if you are in highland that includes ross-shire, inverness, inverness-shire, caithness, sutherland, or lochaber

 

 

Not every project or design follows an exact process, but our experience has shown that the following process is an excellent guide.

 

stage 1 -measured survey / feasibility / sketch plan : We will arrange to meet you at the earliest agreeable time to discuss your requirements  and at the same time measure and survey the property.

The proposed sketch floor plans will then be prepared within an agreed  timescale from the date of survey.  Any amendments / adjustments can be made to the plans to suit your needs.

 

stage 2-planning application:  Additional drawings such as sections elevations site plan and location will aslo be prepared . The plans are submitted on your behalf to the local authority for planning approval, if required.  This process usually takes around 8 weeks.

 

stage 3-building warrant:  The plans are submitted on your behalf to the local authority for building warrant.  This process usually takes around 8 weeks.

 

During the period of the applications, without charge, we reply to local authority requests for minor alterations, changes and clarifications.

 

stage 4:- tender:  Whilst some people decide to employ their own contractor, alternatively we can invite a suitable number of competitive tenders from selected local contractors. They will be provided with copies of the necessary details including plans and specifications. .

 

stage 5- construction: As part of the gold services  - Site supervision and contract administration of the works during the construction phase is included, this will include applying for completion certification and snagging the work.
